Predator DNC™ for Okuma CNCs
New! Okuma OSP-500 support
Predator DNC fully supports Okuma's next generation OSP-P500 control. Support for the 21.5" and 15" models of the P500M, P500L and P500S series CNCs are included within Predator DNC and Predator DNC Enterprise. The Okuma OSP-500 includes Ethernet communications with every model with an option for RS232 (DNC-B) support. Predator DNC includes support for multiple Ethernet protocols including Predator Secure DNC, Windows SMB and RS232 support for the Okuma DNC-B option from Okuma.
Okuma OSP-500 support has also been added to the Predator CNC Editor, Predator MDC, Predator PDM, Predator Touch HMI, Predator Tracker, Predator Travelers and Predator Virtual CNC.
Complete Okuma CNC support with Predator DNC Software
Predator DNC provides complete industrial networking solutions, RS232 transfer, dripfeeding, wireless and Ethernet communication support for all Okuma CNC models simultaneously. Predator DNC maximizes the performance and capabilities of each Okuma CNC model. Predator DNC includes all Okuma RS232 and Ethernet protocols standard with the purchase of Predator DNC software. Not all Okuma CNC networking options are available for all Okuma models.

NOTE: Okuma B requires the Okuma DNC B board which must be purchased from Okuma.
Okuma Paper Tape and Punch Tape support
Predator DNC includes support for Okuma paper tape and punch tape protocols with the following main features:
- Send to CNC
- Dripfeed to CNC
- Predator Schedule support
- Tool restart after tool break
- Multiple Okuma CNCs simultaneously
- Remote Request and bar code triggers
- Optional background operation as a true Windows service
NOTE: The oldest Okuma CNCs require a Predator BTR board to add a RS232 port by emulating a paper/punch tape interface to the CNC machine. Customers with executive tapes or lots of legacy tapes can request a batch transfer of tapes to appropriate file formats. Predator Schedule support requires Predator DNC Enterprise.
